The person behind the lens

Portrait of Bia

I look for the moment just before a face decides what it will show.

I came to the camera through music, and I still work the same way: listen first, then wait for the small pause where something honest happens. A glance held half a second too long. A hand that forgets to be posed. Light that has not quite made up its mind.

I make photographs and films for people, bands and brands who would rather be seen than styled. Every project is a quiet collaboration. I keep the crew small, the kit light and the attention entirely on you. The music follows the same rule: leave room, and let one detail carry the weight.
